10 Constitutional Lawyers Suit Up To Remove, Prosecute CBN Governor Emefiele
The Federal High Court Abuja will in two weeks hear a suit filed by 10
constitutional lawyers seeking to remove from office the Governor of the
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, and his prosecution
for money laundering and other offences.

Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, and his prosecution for money
laundering and other offences.
The other defendants in the suit are President Muhammadu Buhari, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and the Senate.
Among others, the suit seeks an order to compel the President to initiate the constitutional process of the removal of the Governor of the CBN for Abuse of Office, Money Laundering and Gross misconduct.
