Real Madrid star sets another La Liga record

Real Madrid star sets another La Liga record

Gazzetta World Staff,GazzettaWorld Sat, Apr 9 12:48 PM PDT Cristiano Ronaldo netted a 30th goal for an incredible sixth year in a row as Real Madrid brushed aside Eibar 4-0 on Saturday.
The Portugese has now joined Jonas and Gonzalo Higuain on 30 goals in this year's fight for the Golden Boot.
It's the sixth season in a row that the Portuguese phenomenon has scored 30 goals or more for Madrid; netting, what now looks, a pithy 26 in his first year with the club.
The goal machine has shown no signs of slowing down with age, and Ronaldo's record in the last six seasons reads as follows: 10/11 (41), 11/12 (46), 12/13 (34), 13/14 (31) and 14/15 (48).
Although 30 goals is an amount most strikers can only dream of, Ronaldo will undoubtedly be looking to add to that tally this season and win another award to place in his ever-growing trophy cabinet in the process.
It is not just Ronaldo's goals that demonstrate his contribution to Real Madrid, however, with the forward only one behind Luis Suarez in the assists table with 11 and counting.
